The Next Step
The last four years I have farmed in different places in the Salt Lake Valley leasing land from community organizers and other farmers.
And I have loved every minute of it. Even the minutes where I cry over the weeds of self-doubt and lambsquarter. It has been hard and full of blisters and wonder and dirt and wonder about the dirt. It has been amazing.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to farm in the Salt Lake Valley. And I am so excited for the next step for my flower farm.
Last year was an intense year for all of us. I know for my family our priorities have shifted to lean us towards something long lasting and make our every day fulfilling.
So this last Spring my husband and I sat down and talked about what our future looked like going forward with my flower farm and his career. We talked about the different options, the growth my farm business has seen, what we hope it will continue to see, and what we wanted the flowers to do for our family and our community. And we reached a decision.
It was time for us to buy our own farm.
I am so incredibly excited to tell you that we have bought our own flower farm nestled in the mountains in Cache Valley, Utah.
I can’t wait to see the flowers bloom beneath the mountains that are in clear view.
I am sad to no longer live in the Salt Lake Valley, but I have every intention to keep serving the Salt Lake community. The Flower Share will still serve Salt Lake as well as florist deliveries being available.

There is a lot to learn about this land and this growing environment and I am so excited to share this journey with you.
Your Flower Farmer,
Heather
